Katie and Jacob both reside in Colorado, but Katie wanted to hold their wedding celebration in her home town of San Clemente, California. They held their very special and memorable wedding service at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Laguna Beach. Later, they celebrated their reception at the classic and very beautiful Casino San Clemente. The Casino San Clemente is an exceptionally charming and relatively new event property in San Clemente. It was designed by inspiration of the Casino Ballroom on Catalina Island. It’s unique round-stadium shaped ballroom has a very timeless vintage feel and the Casino’s ocean view Patio of the Stars is popular for cocktail receptions. The Casino also has a Rock Garden with dirt paths where Katie and Jacob hosted their favorite board games all night long such as Chess. They also played their favorite game of Bocce Ball throughout the evening which was great fun for everyone. Florally, Katie wanted an organic feel with a color pallet of deep eggplant purple’s and bright fuchsia pinks. She LOVES Stargazer Rubrum Lilies so she decided to incorporated them throughout the floral design for her wedding. The bright pink colors in the Stargazer Lilies really gave her that pop of ‘pink’ she wanted in her color theme. As I watched their wedding day unfold, I observed that they were having so much fun with their family and friends. It was a joy for me to experience it with them and I congratulate them both again on their marriage!
